Meeting your idols- yay or nay?

I was lucky enough to meet my idol, Bryan Adams. I was a big fan of his ever since he did the soundtrack for Robin Hood, Everything I Do, which was in the charts for sixteen weeks! I think I was about 5 back then. So you could say I’ve been a Bryan Adams’ fan for most of my life…

As I was aimlessly scrolling through Facebook one evening, I saw he wrote a post stating that he would be doing a book signing the following day for his photography book, Wounded.

Meeting Bryan Adams was amazing; he was absolutely delightful, very charming. I was super starstruck (totally understandable) and I ended up stumbling on my words. Slightly embarrassing; but I'll live!

I know the advice is to never meet your role models because you end up disappointed. But, I will contradict this. Meeting Bryan Adams was very exciting; I always wanted to meet him but never thought it would actually happen! And he did not disappoint. Only thing is I wish he'd allow people to take photos with him....
